Wilson... Sissela undegoes the most pain, and burst everyone on the Lumia Island.

Difficulty: Staying Active

  • Pain Stack Management: Sissela is one of the character that likes to remain the most active to maintain her Pain stacks. Losing them is a big lose to her tank and recovery potential. It doesn't have to be an extended fight everytime, but a constant hit-and-run is good enough. So she likes to pay attention to noise areas to get hit.

Skill Explained

  • Agony-Bearer: Her signature tank skill. This benefit from + Max HP crafts (see below). The recovery happens after getting hit, so Sissela shouldn't stay too low HP herself to avoid getting burst before recovering. This does also require some Pain stack management as mentioned already to avoid losing the recovery potential from it.

  • Unshackled: Another Sissela signature skill as it is the only skill that hits everyone on the Lumia Island. It can definitely take players by surprise even if Sissela was not fighting that opponent. The constant burst on this can slowly drain opponent's Food resources in put them in a difficult situation. It does require as already mentioned, Sissela to somewhat be active.

General Tips

  • Signature + Max HP crafts: She's the only character that benefits from those items as her Max HP is by default low, it's really good to know them and craft with them in consideration: +Max HP items like Sunset Armor and Eye of Horus. Usually as a meme is adding Crimson Bracelet & Prophet’s Turban. Then later with the Holy Blood / Wickeline, Sissela can upgrade her Sunset Armor to Blood Red Hood. Axe of Pangu as a starting Blade is mostly joke in easy lobbies (more below).

    • Sample Route idea: Start: V-PP, Fabric Armor, Factory

      • Weapon: Gatling Gun

      • Head: Helm of Banneret / Imperial Burgonet / RNG (Mithril Helm)

      • Armor: Sunset Armor / If Wickeline acquired turned into a Blood Red Hood

      • Arm: Wrist Band (If 4x Steel was obtained, can go Steel Shield and beyond)

      • Legs: Battle Boots (If 4x Steel again, can go Killer Heels as well)

      • Accessory: Eye of Horus

  • Mastery Options: Throw being more difficult to manage than other mastery, and that Sissela is somewhat active, Throw weapons might get depleted quickly. Sissela also has a decent options on Gun (as already mentioned above), and some players have also tried to go for Blade Sissela to build the ultimate tank by breaking an Axe of Pangu. But this option has been nerfed with the implementation of weapon defection and repair. It is very difficult to achieve and mostly a consideration in easy lobbies.

  • Early: She stomps. No way most character gets through her.

  • Mid: Sissela starts paying attention to noises in order to get hit at least once to maintain her pain stacks.

  • Late: High Mastery, and losing her pain stacks can be lethal for Sissela at this point. The high mastery and high burst from opponent can burst Sissela away. Trade safely.

Counters

  • Avoid her Early, and Burst her Late: Sissela is strong early-mid game and hopefully snowball from her strong open. Late game, she becomes fragile to high burst damage as she has low Max HP, she might have lost her Pain stacks for HP recovery, she might not have her advantageous +Max HP build, and she might have traded a lot of mastery with you so that you can now burst her.

  • Don't Stay Low HP Outside Fights: Unshackled hits EVERYONE. So it can take you by surprise if you stay too low, or you just left a fight on low HP even if you didn't fight Sissela herself.
