Come at me! Typical brawler student always in a fight. Hit-and-run style.

Skill Explained

  • Dogfight: Likes to pay attention to noises as he can Dogfight once, and run afterwards to build his Mastery faster. Randomly finding opponent works too! Cooldown is very low but the drawback is that you can't use it twice on the same player. Hit-and-run style is great for tough lobbies too. Fun fact, the cooldown used to be even lower in the past. There's diminishing return to run for every noises as that will make you suffer in other areas than Mastery.

  • Brawler: Typically activates at the same time as Dogfight too. So it's good for Hyun to keep his HP & Stamina no fully recovered to benefit from his Brawler that gets better over time. Crafting Efficiently is key again with Hyunwoo as his Brawler scales from his level.

General Tips

  • Early: Hyun starts weak, so he has to find his spot, and be flexible in his area ordering. It is unconvenient as he's the default and starting character. But if Purple Cell is seldom used in your matchups, this is an opportunity for Hyun to put himself at a starting advantage.

  • Mid: Hyun looks for some noises for Dogfight and procs both of his skills.

  • Late: Hopefully 3 players alive by last 3 areas, so you can alternate your Dogfights between the other two remaining players, not so much anymore for Mastery building, but for the extra damage from Dogfight.

Counters

  • Contest Early: One of the easiest character to contest early game for your starting area.

  • Dogfight's Hit-and-Run: You might see a few Hyuns as they are more likely to chase noises but they will also typically leave after his proc anyway.

  • Dogfight Can't Hit Same Player Twice: If there's only 2 players alive, Hyunwoo plays without Dogfight as it can't be used anymore. In other cases, he will also have to hit someone else before he can hit you again with Dogfight.
